Dear Friend:
During this time of the year while everyone is celebrating the holidays, it is unbearable to think of the pain and devastation surrounding those who live in Bam, Iran. There is so much work that needs to be done for its citizens, not only in burying their dead but also in coping with their grief and the reconstruction of this historical city. We are honored that so many countries and people from all over the world are uniting to assist in helping the recovery effort.
We, the Persian Cultural and Humanitarian Association, also known as PCHA, as well as every Iranian individual living in the United States, has an obligation to assist our fellow countrymen without any political or religious agenda.
Now is the time to show our unity and come together to assist those in need as they try to cope with this disaster and devastation. While we attempt to assist in the recovery effort it is imperative to remember that we are all working towards the same goal, therefore it does not matter how we, as individuals react, but in fact that we act.
PCHA is pledging $5,000 from its own budget towards this recovery effort, and on behalf of other concerned individuals is accepting financial donations to add to our original pledge and forward to the recovery effort.
We will forward the donations without any political or religious agenda so that the assistance goes directly to those in need.

If interested please make your check payable to:

YOUTH EXPO 2003 [pdf]

Dear Friends of PCHA,
Do you have a child who is talented in the arts? Do they sculpt, paint, sing, dance or play a musical instrument? If you have a talented child, we want to know about it! To encourage our youth and their talents, PCHA wants to sponsor an Iranian Youth Exhibition (age will be limited to 23 or younger). It will be a day filled with art, music, song and dance. But for PCHA to do this successfully, we need your help! Tell us about your children's talents. Once we get the feedback from you, we will organize the events and follow-up with more details. So please, send us your responses by Tuesday, September 30th. Please note, that this exhibition is a separate program then the drawing contest you may have received notices on.
Please fill out 1 form for each participant.[form]
